Poetry: Nothing Matters but Me

 Nothing Matters, but Me

You just turned it up,

Churned it up,

Cut it out.

Baby, at the end

Nothing matters, but me.

You made me feel like,

Obnoxious,

Unconscious,

Oh, so worthless.

But baby, I’m still grateful,

You taught that,

Nothing matters, but me.

Because, when I shut it out,

Cut it out,

Sweep it out,

Everything below the threshold,

I see nothing matters, but me.

Now I’m scrumptious,

Ferocious,

Much more precious,

than you can imagine, baby.

So, in the end,

nothing matters, but me.
